Unique Phuket Thai Hua Museum on Phuket in Phuket Town of the history of the Chinese diaspora, founded in the distant 1934. The two-story building is an example of Sino-Portuguese architecture. Initially, the first and only school in the province was located here.
On the first floor, an exposition is presented telling about the life of Chinese immigrants on Phuket and their cultural traditions. They played an important role in tin mining, which became the main source of wealth for local communities💎
The galleries on the second floor narrate the history of Chinese settlers, famous and influential families.
Among the particularly valuable exhibits are historical photographs, a typewriter with a Chinese alphabet, and a room dedicated to tin mining.

We recommend taking a tour with a guide to make the museum visit more informative. The tour is conducted in Thai and English. The entrance ticket costs ฿200. How to get to the Phuket Thai Hua Museum can be found on the website.
