Andamanda Phuket
Geo on Google Maps (Kathu)
Working hours: Mon - Sun: 10:00 - 19:00
Website | Instagram
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram
If you don’t take the kids to the biggest water park in Phuket, they won’t forgive you. Besides, you’ll enjoy Andamanda yourselves. There are a full 100,000 square meters of water attractions here — a scale that’s hard to imagine until you’re actually inside.
The water park has safe areas with shallow pools for little kids, extreme slides, and even an artificial wave — something for everyone.
The park also hosts interactive programs: you can set off on a treasure hunt of the Andaman Sea and watch spectacular shows. If you feel like relaxing, you can always move to the lounge areas or rest on the sandy beach with the Tapu Island installation. Nearby cafes and bars are open, so no one will go hungry.
Insider recommends planning your visit to the water park in advance, and discounted tickets to Andamanda can be purchased by contacting the details below.
Splash Jungle Water Park

Working hours: Mon - Sun: 10:00 - 18:30
Website | Instagram
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram
This water park is worth choosing if you want adventure rather than standing in lines for slides. Or if you live near Mai Khao — getting there from other areas of Phuket takes quite a long time.
This water park also has various slides — both for toddlers and adults. For a family ride, the six-lane Whizzard slide is perfect — everyone will be screaming with delight. For the youngest visitors, the “lazy river” attraction or the wave pool is a good choice.
There are cafes and a bar on the territory, so getting a snack won’t be a problem. However, bringing your own food is not recommended — they are strict about this at the entrance.

Pamookkoo Resort

This water park is located on the territory of a hotel, but you don’t have to stay there. You can purchase a day pass — and you’ll get access to the entire infrastructure on the same terms as the hotel guests.
You can find other similar options in the article Hotels with day pass in Phuket.
The slides here are designed with an ancient cultures theme — not just “rides,” but a whole adventure. There are attractions of different heights and difficulty levels, so it’s fun not only for children but also for adults. And if your little traveler isn’t ready for high-speed slides yet, head to the main pool: it’s spacious, with shallow areas around the perimeter where your child will feel safe.
There aren’t many water parks in Phuket where the facilities for the very young are truly well thought out, so this place is worth keeping in mind.
Phuket Emerald Beach Resort

Working hours:
Website | Instagram
The hotel is located on the first line of Karon Beach, with a wide shoreline and the famous “singing” sand. But even the sea can easily take a back seat here — because the main attraction for families is around the pools.
On the territory of Emerald Phuket Beach Resort, there is a full-fledged water zone with a mini water park: slides of various heights, several pools for children of different ages with safe shallow areas.
Completing the picture is Emerald Camp — an indoor kids’ club with a playroom and activities. The result is a hotel where the focus is truly on the family experience: children are entertained, and parents can relax.
Even more hotels with water parks and children’s entertainment can be found in the article Where to stay with kids in Phuket.
Elephant Sanctuaries
In Thailand, elephants are considered sacred animals. But unfortunately, money has no smell, and people have found ways to make a profit even from these giants. Elephants perform in circuses, give tourists rides on their backs, and are subjected to harsh training. For a long time, elephants also worked in logging – which led to a significant decline in their numbers in Phuket.
Insiders do not approve of such treatment of elephants and recommend getting to know these amazing animals only in ethical sanctuaries – places where elephants live the way nature intended.

3. Half-Day with Elephants + Transfer (3 hours). A deeper experience: learn about each elephant, feed them, enjoy an “elephant spa,” shower, and have a Thai buffet lunch.

The tour includes transfer, elephant feeding, a walk around the territory, and guides’ stories about the animals’ daily lives. Here, you can walk through a transparent tunnel with sharks and rays swimming overhead, watch playful otters, see Humboldt penguins, and spot giant river fish from the Mekong.
Children especially enjoy the shark and ray feeding shows, the mermaid performance, the touch pool, and the jellyfish area.
The space is large, the glass is clean, and there’s no odor – it’s comfortable to stroll here, even with strollers. Visits usually take about 1.5–2 hours. You can book a discounted visit using the buttons below:
And to get inspired before visiting the aquarium, watch our video.
Shows
Phuket has unique shows that are an absolute must-see with children. Let’s be honest: for very young kids, these shows can be too noisy, crowded, and confusing, but for children aged three and up, they’re already quite entertaining. Of course, it all depends on your child and their personality, so the choice is up to you.
