Many tourists come to the island with children. While some parents are content with activities like trips to the beach, the pool, and the night market, children with boundless energy often need more. The elephant is a sacred animal in Thailand. Unfortunately, they are not always treated well everywhere, but not in sanctuaries. Here, they don’t offer elephant rides (which they really don’t like!), but instead, show how they live in their natural environment. Children can touch, feed, bathe, and interact with the elephants and their babies, and adults are unlikely to remain indifferent either. Elephants are truly magical, and the interaction with them is always a warm and special experience.
