We also recommend planning your transportation in advance, especially if you’re going out at night. Here are several ways to get around:

• Catch a tuk-tuk, but keep in mind that the price at night is often several times higher than a taxi. You can read more about local transport in our article Public Transport in Phuket.
• Use a taxi app, such as Grab, Maxim, Bolt, or InDriver. More details can be found in the Taxi section.
• Rent a car or motorbike. In this case, you’ll have to skip alcoholic drinks — driving under the influence is prohibited in Phuket.
