A popular resort in Krabi province. The name translates from Thai as "princess bay." It's worth coming here just to admire the majestic karst mountains along the shore – you can endlessly enjoy their views.

The main street of Ao Nang along the beach has all the tourist infrastructure: hotels, massage parlors, cafes and restaurants with sea views. There are also several bars where you can hang out in the evening.

The beach isn't entirely suitable for swimming. Most of it is occupied by boats that depart for other islands. A stay in Ao Nang is perfect for scenic walks, admiring nature, and diving. And it's an excellent place to get away from the noise and bustle of big Phuket.
