The scenic restaurant Baba Nest is located on the rooftop of Sri Panwa Phuket, and this is exactly the kind of place that speaks for itself. From this height, a nearly 360-degree panorama unfolds: the sea, islands on the horizon, and a sky that slowly changes color at sunset.

Frankly speaking, this is a place you come to not for the food, but for the view — and it truly is impressive. A useful tip: for the most striking angles and photos, choose a table on the right-hand side, where the sunset and sea views are especially beautiful.

Opinions on the food and drinks vary. Most agree that the cuisine is good, neatly executed, and well made, but not the main star of the evening. You are paying less for gastronomy and more for the unique experience and atmosphere. That said, some guests are pleasantly surprised by the dishes — especially if it’s your first evening in Phuket.

Baba Nest is popular with both couples and small groups, so reservations are mandatory. A deposit of around 1,000 baht per person is usually required (on certain dates the amount may be higher — it’s best to clarify this in advance).
