The place has a cozy boho vibe: simple seating, lots of greenery and little decorative touches, with handwritten notes and drawings on the walls. In the evening, soft background music sets a relaxed mood. Service is quick and attentive, and the owners and staff are genuinely friendly — warm and welcoming without being pushy.
The menu focuses on authentic Thai cooking with bold flavors, and they can make dishes properly spicy if you ask. Standouts include Pad Thai, green curry, Tom Yum and Tom Kha (including seafood versions), Massaman and Panang curries, chicken satay, papaya salad, pineapple fried rice, spring rolls, and fried wontons. Seafood is served fresh, and prawns and fish are often the centerpiece of a dish. For drinks, the iced coffee is particularly refreshing, and the beer comes nicely chilled.
Prices are reasonable for Karon, and portions are straightforward — more about taste and freshness than oversized servings. A nice touch: at the end of the meal they often bring a complimentary lemon sorbet or ice cream.
One practical note: they accept cash only, so it’s best to come prepared and double-check the final bill against the menu. During the day, mosquitoes can be a nuisance in the outdoor seating area, so bringing repellent helps.
