Actually, there are two beaches in Phuket named Banana Beach. Here we will tell about the one located on the island Ko He (information about the other Banana Beach can be read here ).
Banana Beach is located on Ko He Island (also known as Coral Island) — just 20 minutes by longtail from Rawai Beach on Phuket’s southeast coast. It’s one of two equipped beaches on the island, situated on the eastern side. The beach stretches approximately 250 meters with soft white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water.
On the island, a fee of 100 baht per adult is charged. On the territory there are sun loungers, free showers and toilet.
You can visit this beach by taking a tour to Koh Hey Island.
The beach is adjacent to Coral Beach, but it has several differences. First, Banana Beach in Phuket is smaller than Coral, but this doesn’t make it any less interesting. Second, there are more corals and underwater inhabitants here. To see colorful fish, you don’t need to dive deep; they are literally within two meters from the shore.
The beach territory is well-maintained, everything is designed in a single style of wood and straw. There are cafes, shops, massage salons, several photo zones and sky swings. And if you go up the trail in the jungle, you can go out to a small viewpoint.
Be sure to visit this place if you love snorkeling, want to see hornbills and just catch a serene island vibe!
