Coconuts is a small, truly cozy cafe tucked away in a quiet lane in Chalong. From the very first minutes, you get the feeling that you’re not in a cafe at all, but in a private home somewhere in a grandmother’s village house — calm, warm, and wonderfully homelike.

The interior is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details: embroidered tablecloths, antique dressers, tea sets, fresh flowers — everything looks not like staged decor, but like part of real everyday life. Guests are asked to take off their shoes at the entrance, and this simple gesture immediately sets the mood: this place is less about a cafe format and more about the feeling of home and comfort.

There are only five tables inside, which keeps the space intimate and quiet. There’s also a table on the veranda and a few seats outside. The cafe overlooks a well-kept green lawn with coconut palms and charming giraffe statues — the garden is neat, lush, and very photogenic. Families often come here for breakfast, and mornings pass in complete calm, without any hustle or tourist noise.

The menu pleasantly surprises with its variety: a wide selection of tasty and healthy dishes, bowls, salads, tapas, homemade pastries, and desserts. Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients, and the portions are generous — often one dish is more than enough for two people. The coffee quality is excellent. There are vegetarian options and lighter dishes available.

Service is attentive and friendly. Prices are average for the island and fully justified by the food quality, atmosphere, and overall experience. The cafe also has convenient parking, which is especially important in Chalong.
