Freedom Beach is one of the most picturesque beaches in Phuket, located not far from Patong. Its proximity to the famous beach makes it easy to find, while the noisy neighbor doesn’t interfere with its seclusion. The sand here is very fine and white, like flour, and the water is crystal clear.
The beach stretches for 300 meters along a bay surrounded by cliffs and dense jungle. This inaccessibility is a real find for nature lovers. The beach is small and surrounded by rocks, so strong waves are rare here. The entrance to the water is gradual.
There is a small café on the territory; for sea activities, there are only boats that can take you to neighboring beaches. Snorkeling is definitely worth doing here, so make sure to bring masks in advance.
The secret to this place’s seclusion is that getting there on foot requires walking along a narrow path, which is quite tiring. Or you’ll have to spend money on a boat trip from Kata, Karon, or Patong beaches.
The entrance fee is 100 baht per person.
