Laguna Phuket is the most luxurious area of the island perfect for walks. On one side, Laguna is bordered by the shopping streets of Boat Avenue, and on the other, by the Layan Beach area. The coastline of Laguna features the 13-kilometer Bang Tao Beach, the best on Phuket.
In the resort area, there are six lagoons that were once abandoned but have now been transformed into picturesque places for relaxation with ferry transportation available throughout the day. A distinctive feature of this area is its well-developed infrastructure: there are green spaces with pedestrian paths and routes for horseback riding, as well as roads for cars and cyclists.
Several five-star hotels are located on the first coastline, and a couple more are at the edge of the resort but not directly a part of it. Following them are hotels with three to four stars, and then villa complexes and multi-storey residential buildings (no more than seven stories high).
Laguna is not divided into strictly defined zones. The resort area also includes a golf course, tennis courts, over 30 bars and restaurants, spa centers, parks, currency exchange points, ATMs, bicycle rental, a kindergarten, and 7eleven chain stores. At the entrance, there is a large Villa Market supermarket. For resort guests, there are free boat shuttles throughout the area, allowing movement between hotels and various locations. In Laguna, guests can purchase a day pass, allowing them to spend the entire day in any hotel, using its services such as the gym, children’s room, and restaurant.
