Phuket Lagoon is the island’s most luxurious area and a great place for a stroll. On one side, it borders the shopping streets of Boat Avenue, and on the other, the Layan Beach area. The coastline of the Lagoon features Bang Tao Beach, a stunning 13-kilometer stretch of sand, considered the best on Phuket.
The resort area includes six lagoons, which were once abandoned but have now been transformed into picturesque relaxation spots. One of the district’s key features is its well-developed infrastructure, with landscaped green spaces, pedestrian walkways, horseback riding trails, and roads for both cars and bicycles.
Several five-star hotels are located along the beachfront, with a few more on the resort’s outskirts, though they are not officially part of it. These are followed by three- and four-star hotels, and beyond them, villa complexes and low-rise residential buildings, no taller than seven stories.
The resort also offers a golf course, tennis courts, over 30 bars and restaurants, spa centers, parks, currency exchange points, ATMs, bicycle rentals, a kindergarten, and multiple 7-Eleven stores. At the entrance, you’ll find a large Villa Market supermarket. Guests of the resort can use complimentary boat transfers to move between hotels and various locations within the area.
The geolocation marks a point from which you can walk to the Lagoon area.
