Mad Hog Tavern is worth a visit for all Harry Potter fans and fans of atmospheric places.
The ambience here is a little creepy – there are severed heads, a dragon skeleton on the ceiling and gargoyles on the walls. Every nook and cranny of the tavern is thoughtfully designed, and it’s interesting to look at everything and remember moments from the book and the movie. The interior literally transports you to the world of wizards and muggles.
The menu is mainly European: pizza, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, salads and so on. There are author’s cocktails in the style of the place. Be sure to try the famous Cream Beer, it has an alcoholic and non-alcoholic version.
When it gets dark, the concept of the place changes a bit, neon lights are turned on and the cafe turns into a cheerful bar.
