Napoli in Vespa is an Italian pizzeria and restaurant in Phuket’s Karon area, with a simple, authentic vibe and a neat, well-kept dining room. It works equally well for a relaxed dinner, a family meal, or picking up food to take to the beach or on a picnic.
Their main focus is Neapolitan wood-fired pizza: a thin base, airy, puffed-up crust, and the signature char marks that come from very high heat. The menu features classics like marinara and prosciutto, toppings are generous, and the pizzas look satisfyingly substantial. That said, if you prefer a firmer, sturdier slice that holds its shape, this style may feel a bit too delicate — slices can fold, and the crust edges may occasionally come out a little too salty or overly charred.
Beyond pizza, they also serve pasta and starters: carbonara, bolognese, salmon pasta, cured-meat boards, bruschetta, salads, and desserts. Wine is available by the glass for dinner. As a nice finishing touch, guests are treated to a complimentary house limoncello (sometimes paired with coffee), and bread is brought to the table as well.
Service is polite, quick, and attentive, and the staff are great with kids. One practical note: card payments may come with a surcharge, so having cash can be more convenient.
