PIPO KARON is a small, welcoming café in Phuket’s Karon area that confidently serves both European staples and Thai favorites. The dining room is spotlessly clean and the atmosphere is calm; you can sit inside or choose a table by the road and watch the street go by.
Their standout is pizza with genuinely good dough — soft with the right crisp edge, generous toppings, and a well-balanced sauce. The menu includes Margherita, Pepperoni, Ham & Mushrooms, Hawaiian (and yes, you can ask for it without pineapple), plus a Carbonara-style pizza. It’s also a great option for takeaway or Grab delivery: the food travels well and is packed neatly, with no messy leaks.
Pizza isn’t the whole story, though. There’s a full kitchen menu with lasagna and pasta (including spaghetti and Bolognese), salads, burgers with fries, and Thai classics like Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Panang and Yellow curry, papaya salad, and spring rolls. Portions are noticeably generous, and mango sticky rice makes a fitting finish to the meal.
Service is fast and attentive, with friendly staff. Prices feel fair for the quality, and the beer is served properly cold — sometimes even in a chilled glass. One minor note: a few hot dishes may occasionally need a little extra heat through the middle.
