Portosino Restaurant is located within Avista Grande Phuket Karon and is a good fit for guests who appreciate a calm pace and polished resort-style comfort. The dining room feels bright, clean, and spacious, with window seats overlooking the pool. Even at peak hours, everything stays well organized and unhurried. The vibe is slightly more refined than a typical cafΓ©, yet still relaxed.

Its main draw is a generous breakfast buffet featuring Thai, Indian, and continental options. You’ll find fresh pastries and desserts, salads (including spicy ones), and a solid selection of hot dishes. Items are clearly labeled β€” spicy, seafood, gluten, vegetarian, and more β€” making it easy to navigate. The lineup changes regularly, so breakfast doesn’t feel repetitive day after day. A particularly strong point is the emphasis on ingredient freshness.

For guests who prefer meat-free meals, the restaurant offers Indian dishes on request along with vegetarian choices. Examples include vegetarian pad thai, mango sticky rice, parathas, chole bhature, puri, and masala chai. Lunch and dinner are served Γ  la carte with a wide-ranging menu; notable picks include a wagyu burger, Mu Hong, and soft-shell crab curry.

Service is attentive and fast: staff help you choose a table, remember drink preferences, gladly explain dishes, and accommodate special requests. Card payments are accepted. The Indian section on the buffet isn’t the largest, but the quality and execution are consistently excellent.
