An observation deck on a hill with a divine view of the James Bond movie filming location. A perfect place to take great photos. Absolutely must visit to see this vastness under you, jungle, islands, a riot of green and water, traces of boats in the water and traces of the airplanes in the sky.
If you go from Phuket, there is a beautiful free road through the jungle for the most part: palm trees, bananas, rubber groves, hills. There is a bar, coffee shops, lodges to stay in and a place to pitch a tent (both ways can’t be called super comfortable, but it’s worth the result in the form of a stunning sunrise). Some excursions include staying here for a night. Cars and bikes must be left at the bottom in the free parking lot. Further there is a steep mountain road, which can be climbed on foot for 30 baht, or you can get a ride in special cars for 90 baht. Descent by car is free.
It is better to arrive by 5:30 (open from 4:30) so you can see the beauty of the sunrise. Also keep in mind that you need to be at least 15 minutes before sunrise, because the ride on the pickup will take almost as long as walking, because the pickup goes only when it is full. The restroom is free. You can fly a drone here.
You can also walk to the newly opened Beyond Skywalk Nangshi glass bridge from this observation deck.
The bridge is located at an impressive height from the ground and is completely glass, including the floor. The bridge offers a breathtaking view of the islands of Phang Nga Bay.
There is a hotel currently under construction on the territory. But the bridge is already open to the public. Entry costs 500 baht, which includes a lift, a walk across the bridge and a 300 baht deposit at the cafe. There are several sets of dishes on the menu (each costing just 300 baht) and drinks.
