Sears & Co. Bar and Grill in Phuket is part of the Four Points by Sheraton Patong Beach Resort and sits close to the beach. Seating is split between a breezy outdoor area under trees and umbrellas — complete with pleasant views and a subtle seaside vibe — and a neat, modern dining room. The interior is contemporary and well put together, with an open kitchen and a relaxed atmosphere that doesn’t feel overly formal.

The menu focuses on steaks and grilled dishes: tomahawk cuts, various meats, chicken, and seafood. Steaks are served juicy and aromatic, pasta is cooked al dente, and salads and sides come in generous portions. The restaurant also runs themed nights such as Wagyu/Steak Night, where steaks are paired with a buffet of sides and a salad bar. On certain days, there’s a seafood buffet featuring oysters and mussels, pasta, hot dishes, a live grill station (shrimp, squid, crab, chicken, and beef), plus a dedicated dessert section.

The bar program is a highlight, with well-made cocktails and mocktails and a solid wine selection. For dessert, the mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream is especially memorable. Service is friendly and attentive — staff are happy to help you choose and can quickly walk you through the menu. The location is convenient right off the main road, and parking is available.

A few things to keep in mind: prices are on the higher side, and service charges and taxes are added to the bill. When the restaurant is full, wait times can increase, and live music in the evening can sometimes be quite loud. The restaurant closes around 10:00 pm, so it’s best not to leave coffee and dessert too late.
