Sushi Paradise is located in Robinson Plaza, Phuket, on the second floor — an easy stop while shopping or before a movie. The concept is straightforward: a sushi display case up front, an open prep area, and plating that feels neat and restaurant-like. The space is bright and cheerful with modern touches, so it doesn’t come across as just another mall food-court counter, but rather a small Japanese corner of its own.

The main draw here is fresh fish and consistently well-balanced rolls. Portions are generous, the rice doesn’t overwhelm the filling, and the sauces don’t mask the core flavors. The menu includes sashimi and set options; salmon (including tender belly cuts) and tuna are particularly good. There are also satisfying hot dishes such as unagi don and tempura don. Alongside the classics, you’ll find a few fusion combinations, takoyaki with a punchy sauce, and simple comfort items like miso soup or garlic fried rice.

Another advantage is the large menu with vegetarian choices and the option to customize dishes on request (for example, leaving out avocado). Russian-speaking guests will also appreciate that the menu is available in Russian.

Price-wise, the place stays budget-friendly, with regular deals (such as “5+1”). Do note, however, that the bill may include 7% tax and a 10% service charge. During busy hours, there can be a wait, occasional order mix-ups, or an overly quick push to settle the bill — reminding you it’s still a mall setting — so it’s best to allow a little extra time.
