The main reason to visit is the panoramic view over Rawai Bay and the sunsets. The terrace works just as well for a romantic dinner as it does for a slow cocktail at golden hour. The bar menu features the signature Terrasse 48 cocktail, plus well-priced wine served with chips.
The food focuses on Swiss classics and a “menu of the day” format: cheese and meat fondue, raclette, a tabletop grill with assorted meats and house-made sauces, and dishes such as ribs, spätzle, and a traditional Zurich-style meat specialty. Some items — fondue in particular — require pre-ordering, and walk-in availability can be limited. On certain days the kitchen may be closed, so it’s best to check the schedule and book ahead.
In the evenings, live music sets the tone — acoustic guitar and familiar tunes — with performances starting around 7:30 pm (especially on Tuesdays).
