The Pavilions Phuket is one of those places where, instead of a beachfront hotel surrounded by noise and crowds of tourists, you get peace and quiet, a sense of space, panoramic views, and the feeling that there is no one else around.

The hotel opened around 20 years ago and was designed from the very beginning so that its architecture would blend as naturally as possible into the surrounding landscape. It occupies one of the highest points in Phuket, which makes the sense of space even more noticeable and offers incredible views 😍

We were among the first to try the recently renovated Whirlpool Garden Suites. They feel more like your own small private villa than a standard hotel room: a separate entrance, a tropical garden, and a jacuzzi surrounded by lush greenery. Thanks to the panoramic glazing, the boundary between the room and nature almost disappears – it feels as if the garden becomes an extension of the interior 🌱

Overall, The Pavilions Phuket places a strong emphasis on space: there are suites starting from 80 sq. m and private villas, some of which even have their own SPA areas with steam rooms.

Another special feature of the hotel is 360° Bar, located at the highest point of the property. It is worth coming here closer to sunset, ordering a cocktail, and simply staying for a couple of hours while watching the world go by 🌅

There are also two restaurants on the property. ALTO specializes in Italian cuisine, while Firefly serves breakfast, with à la carte dishes available during the day and in the evening. The menu includes Thai and European cuisine, as well as BBQ dishes cooked on a wood-fired grill 🍢

We also really liked the hotel’s swimming pool. During the day, it looks beautiful surrounded by tropical greenery, while in the evening the lights come on and the water starts sparkling with tiny points of light – almost like a starry sky or little fireflies underwater ✨

Another convenient feature is the hotel’s own app, which allows guests to communicate with the staff. You can also check the shuttle schedule and find information about activities there. The hotel regularly organizes free workshops and movie screenings for guests 🍿

At the same time, it is important to understand the concept of The Pavilions Phuket: this is not a beach hotel in the traditional sense. The hotel is located on a hill, so you need to take a shuttle to reach the sea and the nearest shopping area. But it is precisely this location, away from the main tourist crowds, that creates the atmosphere of privacy and seclusion that makes the hotel worth visiting 🧘🏻‍♂️

Another indication of the hotel’s quality is that The Pavilions Phuket is included among the Thai hotels recognized with a MICHELIN Key 🌟

Who would we recommend this hotel to? First and foremost, couples – for a romantic weekend, anniversary, or honeymoon ❤️‍🔥 And also those who enjoy an active Phuket during the day but, in the evening, want to return not to just another hotel in a busy tourist area, but to their own small and secluded retreat on the hill.
