Wembley Tavern Phuket is a spacious bar and restaurant in town, conveniently located near popular tourist spots and with easy parking. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a long evening — plenty of tables, open seating, and a comfortable feel even when it gets busy.
The venue is split into distinct areas: inside you’ll find air-conditioning and live music, while outside there’s a laid-back lawn-style courtyard where dogs are welcome. Evenings come with extra entertainment, including live music with a standout vocalist, a pool table, and a large screen showing football and other broadcasts. A special highlight is the outdoor movie setup, complete with impressively good sound.
The kitchen consistently delivers: dishes are well cooked, full of flavour, and the menu offers a solid range of options. Prices remain reasonable — Chang beer is 80 THB. For Thai dishes, the fried shrimp heads and Chinese broccoli stir-fried with crispy pork are especially worth trying.
Service is attentive and friendly. The staff help with recommendations, handle orders efficiently, and keep an eye on drinks. During peak hours, food may take longer, and the atmosphere becomes noticeably livelier later in the evening.
Wembley Tavern opens at 6:00 PM and is closed on Mondays.
