About Phang Nga

Phang Nga is one of the most unique provinces in southern Thailand, located on the mainland north of Phuket, along the Andaman Sea coast. Most attractions in the province are about a two-hour drive from Phuket, depending on the route, making it a popular destination for one-day tours.

The signature landmark of Phang Nga is its spectacular limestone cliffs rising straight out of the water, creating one of Thailand’s most iconic landscapes.

The province is also home to some of the most beautiful viewpoints in Samet Nangshe, as well as the Beyond Skywalk Nangshi Glass Bridge (video available on the Beyond Skywalk Nangshi page),unique mangrove forests, natural hot springs, and waterfalls. Its rivers offer opportunities for long-tail boat cruises, canoeing, bamboo rafting, and white-water rafting.

More Information about the Programs

Now, let's take a closer look at each program.

Phang Nga + Samet Nangshe / Skywalk

from 2,100 / 2,800 THB depending on the selected viewpoint | suitable for pregnant women | one-day tour
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max

This tour brings together the most famous attractions of Phang Nga Province in a single itinerary: panoramic viewpoints, caves, walks through mangrove forests, a floating village, elephants, and unique natural locations.

The first stop is the main viewpoint of the tour. There are two options: visiting Samet Nangshe Viewpoint or the Beyond Skywalk glass bridge (watch our video on the Beyond Skywalk Nangshi page). In both cases, you'll enjoy one of the most spectacular views in southern Thailand, with dozens of limestone islands scattered across Phang Nga Bay.

The difference is only in the experience: Samet Nangshe is all about the natural atmosphere and uninterrupted panoramic views, while Skywalk offers the same scenery from a glass platform extending out over the hillside.

The journey then continues to Suwan Khuha Cave, also known as the Monkey Temple. Inside the cave is a giant reclining Buddha, while a large troop of monkeys usually lives around the entrance. After that, you'll visit the Black Monk statue and enjoy a ride on a traditional Thai long-tail boat through the mangrove forests.

The next stop is the floating sea gypsy village of Panyi. This is an entire community built on the water, complete with homes, shops, and even a football field.

One of the most memorable parts of the tour is the elephant spa experience. You can feed the elephants, bathe with them, take part in a mud spa session, and simply spend time observing these amazing animals.

The day concludes with a stop at a waterfall and a visit to the famous airplane beach (watch our video on the Mai Khao Beach page), where aircraft fly directly overhead as they approach the runway.

Sunrise Adventure + Samet Nangshe / Skywalk

from 2,200 / 2,600 THB depending on the selected viewpoint | suitable for pregnant women | one-day tour
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max

One of the most unusual programs in Phang Nga for those who are ready to sacrifice some sleep for these views.

The main idea of this tour is to welcome the morning above Phang Nga Bay, while the cliffs rise from the mist and there are still no other tourists around.

The program offers two route options: the classic Samet Nangshe Viewpoint or the Beyond Skywalk Nangshi glass bridge. In both cases, you will enjoy panoramic views of Phang Nga Bay and the limestone islands scattered across the water.

After sunrise, the route continues with a ride on a traditional Thai long-tail boat among limestone cliffs and small islands. Along the way, you will see the famous James Bond Island, hidden corners of the bay, and lesser-known islands that are rarely visited independently.

In the second half of the tour, the itinerary becomes more relaxed: the airplane beach, where aircraft fly directly overhead, and the famous cafe with giant water lilies, which has long become one of the region’s most recognizable photo spots.

from 3,100 THB | suitable for pregnant women | one-day tour
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max

The route begins with the famous cafe featuring giant water lilies, one of the most Instagrammable locations in the region. After that, you will visit the equally photogenic White Temple (watch our video on the Wat Kanan White Temple page) and the scenic Benyaran Waterfall, where you can swim.

The next part of the itinerary is an elephant encounter. You can spend time in close contact with the animals, bathe with them, and watch a mini elephant show.

After lunch, the route continues to Samet Nangshe Viewpoint, one of the most beautiful places in southern Thailand, offering views of Phang Nga Bay and the limestone islands.

The main feature of this tour is the combination of different experiences in a single day. Here you can travel along the river on bamboo rafts through the jungle, ride ATVs, and just an hour later relax in natural hot springs surrounded by greenery.

The day ends with a visit to hot thermal springs and relaxation on Natai Beach — a long and peaceful beach where you can swim, walk barefoot on the sand, or simply enjoy a quiet end to the day.

Plankton Glow

from 2,600 / 3,000 THB (Samet Nangshe or Skywalk) | suitable for pregnant women | one-day tour
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max

Glowing Plankton is one of the most unusual tours in Phuket. In just one day, it combines several completely different experiences: beautiful viewpoints, iconic locations, a sea trip, and a rare natural phenomenon.

The route begins with impressive locations on land: the White Temple, the airplane beach, and one of the best viewpoints in southern Thailand — Samet Nangshe. Here you can choose the format of your visit: the classic viewpoint or the glass bridge offering a breathtaking view of Phang Nga Bay. The tour price depends on this choice.

Then the sea part of the journey begins: a ride on a traditional Thai boat among giant limestone cliffs, a stop at Diamond Cave with spectacular stalactites, and a photo stop near the legendary James Bond Island.

And in the evening — true magic: after sunset, you will enjoy kayaking among glowing plankton — a rare natural phenomenon when the water starts to light up with blue flashes with every movement of the paddle, your hand, or a touch of the water.

This is what makes the tour special: it is not just a beautiful trip, but an experience that you will truly remember.

Samet Elephants Mantra Spa

from 3,400 THB | suitable for pregnant women | one-day tour
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max

This tour is about a beautiful and relaxing day without rushing, where nature, scenic views, and relaxation are combined in one itinerary.

The route begins with the White Temple — an incredibly beautiful and atmospheric location, followed by a stop at the famous airplane beach, where aircraft fly literally right above your head.

Next, you will head to the elephant beach. Here you can feed the animals, spend time with them by the sea, and even bathe with them. After that, you will have lunch with a sea view and some time to relax before the next part of the itinerary.

The tour then continues to Samet Nangshe Viewpoint — one of the most impressive panoramic spots in southern Thailand. You can also choose to visit the glass bridge, offering the same views but with a “floating” feeling above the bay.

The final part of the day is relaxation at Mantra SPA. It is a huge natural complex featuring open-air saunas, herbal and coffee baths, swimming pools, and a lake with giant water lilies.

This tour is perfect for those who want to combine beautiful locations, close contact with nature, and true relaxation — without an overloaded schedule and endless transfers.

Phang Nga: Rafting + ATV

from 2,100 THB / extreme activities are not available for pregnant women | one-day tour
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max

This program is perfect for those who want not only to see beautiful places but also spend an active day.

The first stop is Suwan Khuha Cave, also known as the Monkey Temple. Inside, you will find caves with stalactites and a reclining Buddha statue. After that, the route continues through a green park with lakes, where you can take a walk and make a stop before the active part of the day begins.

Next comes the adventure part — the reason why many people choose this program. First, you will experience a zipline ride, then go rafting down the river through the jungle, followed by an ATV ride.

After lunch, you will enjoy a relaxing spa experience — but not an ordinary one, an elephant spa. Bathing, mud treatments, a shower, and the opportunity to spend time close to these gentle giants are truly priceless.

The final stop is a waterfall in the middle of the jungle, where you can swim and take a moment to relax after such an eventful day.

Important: this tour has several restrictions.

  • Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in ATV rides, rafting, elephant rides, or ziplining.
  • Rafting is available for children from 7 years old or with a height of at least 110 cm.
