BRB: Beer Right Back is a craft beer bar in Phuket’s Chalong area, right on lively Wiset Road. It’s a small, well-kept micropub with a refreshed interior, air-conditioning, and comfortable seating. Inside, the vibe is calm with good music; outside, there are a few tables facing the street. It works equally well for meeting friends or spending a slow evening on your own.

The main focus is craft beer on tap and an impressive can display from around the world. You’ll usually find around six rotating taps (sometimes fewer), covering local brews as well as IPAs and ales, stouts, cider, and sour styles. The fridge is packed with dozens of imported and hard-to-find cans from around the world. Sours make up a noticeable part of the lineup, but they’re far from the only option.

The bartenders are skilled and attentive: they’ll help you choose a beer that matches your taste, pour properly, and keep the atmosphere friendly and easygoing. You can sample the beers on tap before ordering, and drinks often come with a small complimentary snack. There are board games, takeaway cans are available, and happy hour deals pop up from time to time.

Food isn’t the bar’s strongest point — there’s no full kitchen — but you’re welcome to bring your own or order delivery. Prices can feel on the higher side (as is common for imported craft beer in Thailand), but quality and variety are clearly the priority.
