DOO CAT CAFE Phuket is a cosy spot on the island where a café and a home for rescued cats come together. The cats here were taken off the streets and now live in a calm, safe environment with genuinely attentive care — you can see it in the clean eyes and ears, well-groomed coats, playful energy, and how readily they trust people.
The space is roomy and thoughtfully set up, with plenty of areas for play and rest. Cats roam freely, come up for affection on their own, and often settle right in your lap. Even though there are a lot of cats here (around 82–83) at any given time, the atmosphere stays surprisingly peaceful. It’s an easy place to switch off, sit quietly, and spend hours — especially if you’re visiting with children.
Another big advantage is the cleanliness and lack of odours. There are separate zones for short-haired and long-haired cats, which helps keep the space comfortable and tidy.
Drinks and light bites are a real part of the experience. People often praise the coffee (including iced Americano), matcha, and Thai tea, and there’s a selection of snacks as well. Prices feel a bit above average, but the concept is straightforward: a drink is about 200 baht, and you can also buy a special treat for feeding the cats (around 35 baht), served in a way that makes spoon-feeding easy.
The staff are friendly and attentive — explaining how to interact with the cats, sharing their stories, and maintaining a warm, respectful space that never feels hectic.
