FAMS Made Cafe in Phuket (Kathu area, near the Prince of Songkla University campus) is a small, family-run spot designed to feel like a cozy little home. It sits slightly back from the main road, tucked behind greenery and nearby buildings, so it’s easy to drive past — but still simple to find using landmarks and photos. There’s parking, indoor and outdoor seating, free drinking water, and fast Wi‑Fi, making it a convenient place to grab coffee or breakfast, or get some work done in a calm setting.

Inside, the café is warm and very photogenic: soft lighting, a clean minimalist “Korean-style” look, lots of dried flowers and leafy plants, a neat dessert display, and a standout counter finished with beautiful tiles. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, and the owners are hands-on — they often bring the dishes out themselves.

The menu blends Thai flavors with familiar Western classics. You’ll find tonkatsu (including versions with green curry and a larb-style sauce), cashew chicken, tom yum paste, seafood fried rice, basil shrimp pasta, plus soups, fresh-vegetable salads, sandwiches, carbonara, and several breakfast options, including an American breakfast.

Homemade desserts and drinks are a particular highlight: fragrant Thai tea that isn’t overly sweet, matcha lattes, cocoa, large-size coffees, as well as mocktails and fruit-based drinks like strawberry smoothies or strawberry soda. Prices are noticeably lower than the island average (a latte is around 55 THB), though lunchtime can get busy with students, which sometimes means longer waits; plant-based milk for coffee isn’t always available.
