KHUNPON MARTIAL ARTS in Phuket feels like a close-knit club from the very first session, with a strong team culture and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s an easy place to start from scratch, yet it also suits athletes who come specifically for serious training and steady progress.
What sets the gym apart is that MMA, Muay Thai, and BJJ are all offered under one roof. You can build a well-rounded schedule that blends striking and grappling, depending on your goals. Training is highly technical, with clear coaching, a focus on proper movement mechanics, and explanations that make the details easy to understand. The coaches are attentive and hands-on: Justin leads BJJ, Mick oversees MMA, and Muay Thai is taught by Jack, Beer, and Mhee — creating an environment that’s demanding in the best way, while staying motivating and supportive.
The facilities are another strong point. The gym is kept spotlessly clean and well organized: the space is tidy, equipment is always in its place, and it’s easy to train without distractions. The vibe remains friendly, and the staff are helpful with practical matters, making it simple to settle into a comfortable training routine.
It’s not just for adults, either — there are training options for kids as well, which is especially convenient for families traveling to Phuket or staying on the island long-term.
