What Are Koh Rok and Koh Ha, and What Is the Tour Like?
Koh Rok and Koh Ha are among the most beautiful islands you can visit from Phuket. They are located within Mu Ko Lanta National Park in Krabi Province and are famous for their crystal-clear waters, powder-white beaches, and vibrant underwater world.
Important: Every year from May 15 to October 15, Koh Rok and Koh Ha are closed to visitors. During this period, the national park allows the marine ecosystem and coral reefs to recover.
Koh Rok is divided into two islands: Koh Rok Noi and Koh Rok Yai. Koh Haa is a group of five small islands.
What makes them different from other islands?
- The water. Some of the clearest in the region. You can easily see the seabed, coral reefs, and colorful fish even without diving.
- Snorkeling right from the surface. You don't need to be a diver — just put on a mask and you'll immediately be surrounded by coral reefs and tropical marine life.
- Untouched beaches. There are no hotels or busy tourist developments on Koh Rok. Just soft sand, tropical jungle, and the sea.
- Fewer crowds. You won't get the feeling of being on a crowded tourist route.
Because of this, the entire trip feels much more relaxed — no rushing, no crowds, just the opportunity to truly enjoy nature.

Lanta + Rok + Ha + Kradan
from 7,700 THB | not suitable for pregnant women | 2-day tour
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max
A 2-day journey designed so you don't have to rush — you can truly experience every moment of the route.
The highlight of this trip is its format. There's no race from one attraction to the next. Instead, it's a gradual immersion: islands, a night by the sea, changing landscapes, and a chance to fully disconnect.
Early in the morning, you'll head out to sea. Your first stop is Koh Ha, where the tone for the entire journey is set. Crystal-clear water, secluded lagoons, and vibrant coral reefs surround you. You don't need to be a diver here — the underwater world is right at your fingertips.
The route then continues to Koh Rok Yai, where you'll have time to swim, snorkel straight from the beach, and enjoy lunch overlooking the sea. After that, you'll cross to Koh Rok Noi, home to one of the richest reefs on the itinerary. Expect colorful coral gardens, tropical fish, and, if you're lucky, moray eels and rays.
By evening, you'll arrive at Koh Lanta Yai, and this is where the trip truly sets itself apart. Instead of rushing back to Phuket, you'll stay overnight on the island and experience a completely different pace of life.
A beachfront hotel, sunset on the shore, dinner by the sea, a fire show, and an authentic night market create the rare feeling that you've traveled far beyond the usual tourist trail.
On the second day, the adventure continues. You'll visit Koh Mook and its famous Emerald Cave, one of the most extraordinary places along the Andaman coast. Swimming through a dark sea cave, you'll emerge into a hidden lagoon with emerald-green water and a secluded beach enclosed by towering cliffs.
The journey then takes you to Koh Kradan, where everything slows down again. Crystal-clear water, pristine reefs, excellent snorkeling, and lunch on the beach make it the perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of the islands.
On the way back, you'll cruise past iconic landmarks such as Monkey Bay and Viking Cave, before returning to Phuket in the evening — bringing an unforgettable two-day island adventure to a close.
