Krabi is a province on the south-west coast of Thailand, which is famous for its sheer limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests and numerous coastal islands. It is one of the most beautiful parts of Thailand. Krabi’s calling card is Chiken Island (Koh Kai), as well as Tub Island (Koh Tub). Chiken Island has its name from one of its rocks, which is shaped like a chicken’s head. Kai and Tub islands are connected by a sandy spit, which can be seen from the observation deck of Chiken Island. Another paradise corner of Krabi is Poda Island. It is a limestone island with a white sandy beach and crystal clear water. From here you can see the cliffs of Railay Cape and Ma Tang Ming Rock, hundreds of meters high. While in Krabi province, a must on any excursion will be a visit to the Princess Cave or Fertility Cave, which is known for its interesting legend (you will be told it on the excursion).
