Mr. TUNA Turkish Cuisine sits right in the center of Patong, just off Bangla Road — an easy stop when you’re in the middle of the resort buzz and craving Turkish flavors. The dining room is neat and well looked after: clean, comfortable, and especially cozy in the evening. On some nights, live music adds to the atmosphere.
The menu focuses on authentic Turkish cooking with a halal selection. Chefs from Urfa and Diyarbakır run the kitchen, so you’ll find plenty of meat dishes, freshly baked flatbreads, and classic meze. For a first visit, mixed sets and sharing platters for two are a great choice — portions are generous and made for splitting with friends.
Standouts include the kebabs (especially Adana), juicy lamb, tender chicken şiş, and döner. Many guests also add mercimek (lentil soup) and çoban salata to the table. For dessert, baklava and other Turkish sweets are a natural finish, best paired with a cup of Turkish coffee.
Service follows the Turkish tradition of hospitality: the staff are friendly, happy to recommend dishes, and usually quick with orders. As a warm gesture, they may offer tea.
A few things are worth keeping in mind: some items can take longer than expected, and it’s smart to clarify what’s complimentary in advance to avoid confusion on the bill. On rare occasions, the quality of specific dishes and the level of service may be inconsistent.
