Neko Cat Cafe in Phuket (Rawai area, Sai Yuan) is a small cat café where people come to unwind and spend some quiet time with its fluffy residents. Inside, it’s cosy and inviting, with plenty of soft seating, cute pink-toned décor, and cat-themed wall art and decorations. The overall vibe feels more like a comfy living room than a typical café.
What really sets this place apart is how spotlessly clean it is — without any lingering pet smell. The space feels fresh, the cats look well cared for, and their coats are clean and soft. Guests are given hand sanitiser before interacting with the cats, and the house rules are designed with the cats’ comfort in mind.
The café is home to more than 16 friendly cats. Many of them are happy to come over to say hello, enjoy being petted, and may curl up next to you — or even on your lap. At the same time, they’re generally relaxed: after treats, a lot of them simply drift off to sleep. There’s also a dedicated area where the cats can retreat if they don’t want attention. Treats to attract the cats can be added to your order, and extra portions are available for purchase. During feeding time some cats can get a bit pushy and may scratch lightly, so it’s best to feed them calmly and without rushing.
The menu focuses mainly on coffee and desserts: lattes, Thai iced tea, smoothies (including mango), frappes and shakes, plus ice cream, cheesecake, waffles, and an eye-catching lava cake. Drinks can sometimes take a while to prepare, but the taste and presentation are worth the wait. You can also buy cute cat-themed souvenirs.
Parking nearby is limited, so arriving by scooter is the easiest option. There’s a 7‑Eleven close by as well.
