Tira Herbal Sauna & Spa @ Chalong is a small, intimate bathhouse complex near the Chalong roundabout — an easy place to combine steam rooms, water dips, and unhurried downtime. The grounds are well kept, with covered loungers, and the house rules are clearly posted in several languages.

At the heart of the venue is a wood‑fired sauna with high heat and moist steam, along with a hammam. One of the highlights is the herbal hammam scented with lemongrass and citrus: the rich aroma feels instantly refreshing, makes breathing easier, and helps you unwind. After the steam rooms, it’s convenient to alternate between cool plunge pools and the main swimming pool; there are several tubs at different temperatures, including cold plunges. There are plenty of showers, cleanliness is generally maintained, and the staff are quick to help when asked. Massages are available, and an additional ice barrel can be booked for an extra fee.

There’s also an on‑site kitchen and bar. The menu leans toward Russian comfort food (borscht, dumplings/pelmeni) and charcoal-grilled shashlik, with a few familiar staples like pad thai. The food selection can be fairly small, but the choice of herbal teas is solid. Sundays have a different vibe: DJ nights and BBQ turn it into a louder, more social spot that attracts groups of friends and families.

Entry is typically 300 THB (towel and water included), and 150 THB for children; an extra towel costs extra. A few things to keep in mind: the hammam may be switched on upon request, the kitchen doesn’t open immediately in the morning, shower drains can occasionally be slow, and in the outdoor area you may encounter mosquitoes — and sometimes smoke from guests nearby who are smoking.
