Uncle Joe Breakfast and Coffee Bar is a cozy café in Phuket, close to Patong Beach, with a focus on hearty European-style breakfasts and quality coffee. It’s cool inside thanks to the air conditioning, the dining area is clean and well kept, and the vibe is calm — great for an early stop, a late brunch, or even a short work session, as the Wi‑Fi is reliable.
Service is impressively fast — most orders arrive in about 5–7 minutes — which makes it a go-to place when you don’t feel like waiting. Portions are generous: many dishes are made for a big appetite, and some are easy to share. The menu includes toast and sandwiches (including a grilled ham & cheese on crispy, buttery bread), tuna panini, bagels, fruit oatmeal, eggs with avocado, and a solid selection of sweet breakfasts — French toast (Biscoff, tropical, and fruit options), large waffles, and pancakes served with eggs and bacon. Desserts come with ice cream.
Coffee is one of the highlights: barista-quality drinks such as espresso, cappuccino, flat white, and latte, plus matcha and Thai iced coffee (Es‑Yen). You can upsize for a small extra charge, and card payments are accepted.
Prices are generally reasonable, although a few items feel slightly above average for Patong — especially if you’re ordering for a family. A couple of minor drawbacks: drinks aren’t always perfectly consistent (for example, a hint of bitterness in the coffee or milk that’s too cold in a latte), and not every dessert is equally strong. It would also be nice to see less single-use plastic.
