ViVi Sauna Dry & Steam in Phuket is a sauna complex built around a simple idea: come for a proper steam, take a dip, grab a meal, and unwind. Entry is usually 200 THB (towels may be charged separately), and children enter free. There’s parking for both cars and motorbikes, and the grounds are lush and green, with palms, flowers, and shaded gazebos.

The main draw is the authentic Russian banya and a hammam. The dry sauna heats up properly, while the hammam offers a softer, gentler steam. Veniks (bath brooms) are allowed, and you can buy brooms and sauna hats on site. At times the steam room can feel overly humid when guests add a lot of water to the stones, and during certain hours music is played — so a quiet, intimate atmosphere isn’t always guaranteed.

The hot–cold contrast after steaming is especially striking. The plunge pool is genuinely ice-cold (they occasionally add ice), and nearby there’s a hot mineral bath/jacuzzi plus a large swimming pool where you can both swim and sunbathe.

Another strong point is the food and drinks. The menu includes plenty of Thai and European options, with a few Russian dishes as well — along with good soups and burgers, hearty snacks, honey, herbal teas, and draft beer. For relaxing, there are lounge areas with sunbeds, and massage rooms are available (popular time slots are best booked in advance). In the evening, mosquitoes can be an issue, and it can get crowded at peak times. The changing area isn’t the most convenient, and service speed and friendliness may vary depending on the shift.
