During the low season from May to October, the sea in Phuket can be quite rough, but there are places where you can swim peacefully. These beaches are wave-free all year round: Ao Yon, Cape Panwa Beach, Merlin Snorkel Beach, Coral Beach, Nai Yang, Tri Trang, Hua Beach, and Paradise Beach.
