What Can You Do in Phuket for 100, 1000 and 10 000 Baht?
A holiday in Phuket can suit a wide range of budgets. For 100 baht, you can enjoy a simple day at the beach; for 1000, you can take a tour or dine out; and 10 000 baht is enough for a private trip with a driver, a cruise on a beautiful catamaran, or dinner at a high-end restaurant.

100 baht: little pleasures
One hundred baht in Phuket is far from “nothing.” Although it’s only around $3, it’s enough to treat yourself. For example:
- Grab a coconut or a shake on the beach (depending on the location and drink size, 100 baht might even cover two!);
- Rent a sun lounger on the beach;
- Get a meal at 7-Eleven: a hot sandwich, rice or noodles, a drink, and something sweet — put together your own Thai combo straight from the ready-made food section.
- Grab pad Thai or tom yum from a street food cart;
- Try roti or mango sticky rice;
- Have a monk tie a blessing string around your wrist at a temple (100 baht makes a suitable donation);
- Rent a kayak or a mask and fins for snorkeling;
- Visit a museum: for example, admission to the Phuket Mining Museum and Thalang National Museum costs 100 baht;
- Take public transport: for 100 baht, large, air-conditioned Smart Buses will take you from the airport to Rawai, with stops at Bang Tao, Surin, Kamala, Patong, Karon, and Kata. There is also a Phuket Town–Patong route for 50 baht. You can also take a songthaew from Phuket Town to the beach for 30–50 baht.
Ultimately, 100 baht in Phuket can cover a snack, drinks, transport, or a little beach treat. Sometimes even all of the above, if you choose places without the tourist markup.
1000 baht: a full-fledged experience
This is where your budget starts to feel quite different. 1000 baht per person (around $30) is enough for a complete experience.
Visit an ethical elephant sanctuary
For 1000 baht, you can enjoy a short program at an ethical elephant sanctuary. This usually includes meeting the elephants, observing them, feeding them, and, of course, taking photos. Trust us, even this short experience will leave you with happy memories worth far more than 1000 baht.

Fixed-price brunches and dinners
Some venues in Phuket offer brunch or dinner at a fixed price. You pay a single amount and enjoy an unlimited buffet, usually featuring a wide selection of hot dishes, appetizers, salads, desserts, and drinks.
These events often include live music, performances, or DJ sets, and some hotels also give guests access to the pool and other facilities.

Take a sightseeing tour
If you want to see the island’s main attractions in one day, you can join a group sightseeing tour.
The route covers the main sights in the south and center of the island: Kata–Karon Viewpoint, Windmill Viewpoint, Promthep Cape, the Sea Gypsy Market, Big Buddha, an elephant village, Wat Chalong, Muay Thai Street, Phuket Town, and Rang Hill.
A good option for a first visit or for anyone who prefers not to plan the route themselves.
A group sightseeing tour of Phuket does cost a little more, though — 1200 baht. You’ll need to stretch your budget slightly.
Party at a beach club
1000 baht can cover entry/a minimum spend and a couple of cocktails, depending on the club and the conditions on the day you visit.
Enjoy a few hours by the sea, music, a pool, and that perfect holiday vibe without having to spend a fortune reserving a table.
Many beach clubs also host fire shows, so your 1000 baht gets you one more experience. Find out where to catch them in our article Where to Watch Fire Shows in Phuket.
Beach clubs you can visit:
- GOAT Beach Club Phuket – free entry; food and drinks can be ordered from the menu.
- Barra Cuda Beach Club – entry to selected events starts at around 700 baht; seating reservations start at 1 500 baht.

Working hours: Mon - Sun: 10:30 - 18:00
Website
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram
Aquaria Phuket is a large aquarium in Central Floresta shopping mall, where you can see more than 6000 marine and land animals in just a few hours.
The main attraction is, of course, the underwater world: sharks, rays, giant groupers, and other tropical marine creatures. You’ll also find penguins, otters, meerkats, snakes, and spiders. Children will especially enjoy the interactive zones and mermaid shows, with programs that change periodically.
With our discount, an adult ticket to Aquaria costs 1090 baht, and a child’s ticket costs 650. To book, contact us:
Rent a car and explore the island
Renting a car in Phuket is an affordable option, not a luxury. Prices start at around 1000 baht per day, and during the low season, you can sometimes find cars for 700–800 baht.
For 1000 baht, you can rent a car for a day and explore the island at your own pace: beaches, viewpoints, the Old Town, and places that are harder to reach by public transport.
For ideas on how to spend your day, check out our article What to Visit in Phuket in One Day.
Head to Banana Beach
Geo on Google Maps (Rawai)
Banana Beach is a place where you can combine a beautiful beach, snorkeling, and a ride on a traditional Thai longtail boat in a single day. Koh Hae is about 20 minutes from Rawai.
A round-trip longtail boat rental costs around 2000–2500 baht per boat. Split between three people, that works out to about 670–830 baht per person, comfortably within a 1000-baht budget. There’s also a separate island entry fee, starting at 100 baht per person.
Banana Beach itself has white sand, clear water, sun loungers, showers, toilets, cafes, and small shops. You can go snorkeling or follow a trail through the jungle to a small viewpoint.
Enjoy a massage or spa treatment
Another option is a massage at a good salon. A massage at a simple roadside shop can cost much less, while treatments at a quality spa are more expensive. Still, depending on the spa and the type of massage, a budget of around 1000 baht is quite realistic. Even for two! For example:

Spend the day at a nice hotel with a day pass
If you’re travelling as a family, instead of visiting a full-scale water park, consider a day pass at a hotel with pools and a children’s play area.
A day pass gives you access to a hotel’s facilities for the day without an overnight stay, allowing you to spend the day like a resort guest. Sometimes, for around 1,000 baht, you can enjoy a whole day at the hotel.
- SAii Laguna Phuket 5* – 800 baht per person
- Hotel Clover Patong Phuket 4* – from 390 baht per person
- Phuket Emerald Beach 5* – 800 baht per person
- OZO Phuket 4* – 1,000 baht per person
- Phuket Orchid Resort & Spa 4* – 300 baht per person
- Kora Beach Resort Phuket, 5* – 999 baht per person
- Pamookkoo Resort, 4* – 499 baht per family (2 adults + 2 children)
Children’s passes usually cost less, so at some hotels, the whole family can enjoy a day out for 1,000 baht.
