Phuket’s viewpoints are magnificent, and each one is worth a visit. You can easily reach them by renting a motorbike or a car. If you plan to travel to the viewpoints on your own, be cautious on the roads. Most are located at high elevations, with steep and winding routes.
If you want to capture breathtaking bird’s-eye views and shoot with a drone, Karon and Samet Nangshe are excellent choices. For a stunning sunset experience, head to Promthep Cape and Rang Hill (Khao Rang).
We also highly recommend visiting the viewpoint at the Big Buddha. It is one of Phuket’s most significant and revered landmarks. From this elevated spot (400 meters above sea level), you’ll enjoy incredible views, while the spiritual atmosphere offers a sense of peace and tranquility. The area includes spaces for prayer and meditation.
At the Ao Por and Samet Nangshe viewpoints, you can witness a mesmerizing sunrise. Camping is allowed, so you can stay overnight in nature and wake up to a beautiful dawn.
